A vegan twist on the Dutch fast-food classic, featuring crispy baked fries, seasoned meat substitute, fresh salad, and vegan garlic sauce, all layered in a bowl.
Ingredients
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 300g vegan shawarma
- 200g vegan cheese, shredded
- 1 small red onion, thinly sliced
- 1 tomato, diced
- 100g lettuce, chopped
- Vegan garlic sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
Steps:
- Preheat oven to 220°C (428°F). Toss fries in oil, season with salt, and spread on a baking sheet. Bake for 25-30 minutes until crispy.
- In a skillet, cook the vegan shawarma according to package instructions.
- Layer baked fries in a dish, add cooked shawarma, and sprinkle with vegan cheese. Broil until cheese melts.
- Top with red onion, tomato, lettuce, and drizzle with vegan garlic sauce before serving.
