    Recipe Description

    Crispy edges, tender in the middle, these roasted cabbage steaks are a simple and quick vegan treat.

    Ingredients

    • 1 large head of cabbage, sliced into 4 thick steaks
    • 2 tablespoons olive oil
    • Salt and pepper to taste
    • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
    • 1 teaspoon onion powder
    • Fresh herbs for garnish (optional)

    Steps:

    1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
    2. Brush both sides of each cabbage steak with olive oil and season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion coverage.
    3. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
    4. Roast in the preheated oven for 25 minutes, until edges are crispy and center is tender.
    5. Garnish with fresh herbs before serving, if desired.
