Recipe Description

Ingredients

  • 4 cups chopped tomatoes
  • 1 large onion, finely chopped
  • 1 red chilli, deseeded and finely chopped
  • 3 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt to taste

Steps:

  1. Combine all ingredients in a large, heavy-bottomed saucepan.
  2. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Once thickened, remove from heat and let cool. Transfer to sterilized jars and refrigerate.
