    Recipe Description

    An exquisite black bean burger, masterfully crafted to tantalize your taste buds and offer a sumptuous feast for the senses. This gourmet patty, made from premium, tenderly mashed black beans, is seasoned with a blend of aromatic spices and fresh herbs that whisper secrets of flavor with every bite. Nestled within a lightly toasted, buttery brioche bun, it’s adorned with crisp lettuce, ripe, juicy tomatoes, and slivers of red onion for a fresh crunch.

    Ingredients

    • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
    • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
    • 1/4 cup finely grated carrot
    • 2 cloves garlic, minced
    • 1 teaspoon cumin
    • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
    • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
    • Salt and pepper to taste
    • 2 tablespoons olive oil for frying

    Steps:

    1. In a medium bowl, mash the black beans with a fork until mostly smooth but with some whole beans remaining for texture.
    2. Add the breadcrumbs, onion, carrot, garlic, cumin, smoked paprika, chili powder, salt, and pepper to the mashed beans. Mix until well combined.
    3. Form the mixture into 4 burger patties.
    4. Heat the olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Fry the patties for 5 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and heated through.
    5. Toast the burger buns lightly, if desired.
    6. Assemble the burgers by placing each patty on a bun and topping with lettuce, tomato, vegan mayonnaise, and avocado slices.
