    Recipe Description

    Indulge in the sweet, chewy goodness of Vegan Liege Waffles, a delightful treat that doesn’t compromise on the traditional texture or taste. Enjoyed best when warm, these waffles are perfect for any time of the year.

    Ingredients

    • 2 cups all-purpose flour
    • 1 tsp instant yeast
    • 3/4 cup lukewarm plant-based milk
    • 1/2 cup vegan butter, melted
    • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
    • 1/2 tsp salt
    • 1 cup pearl sugar

    Steps:

    1. In a large bowl, combine the flour, instant yeast, granulated sugar, and salt.
    2. Add the lukewarm plant-based milk and melted vegan butter to the dry ingredients, forming a dough.
    3. Cover and let the dough rise in a warm place until doubled in size, about 1 hour.
    4. Gently fold in the pearl sugar.
    5. Heat a waffle iron and scoop the batter onto it.
    6. Serve the waffles warm with your favorite vegan toppings.
