- 2 1/2 cups warm water
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil, for cooking
Steps:

- Knead the dough until smooth, then divide into 8 equal parts. Shape each part into a ball and then flatten into a disc.
- Heat a pan over medium heat and brush with vegetable oil. Cook the arepas for 5-7 minutes on each side, until they are golden and crispy.
