    Recipe Description

    This Classic Vegan Käsespätzle brings the comforting flavors of traditional German cuisine to the vegan table. Freshly made spätzle is tossed with a rich, creamy vegan cheese sauce, spiced perfectly and topped with crispy onions. It’s a warming dish perfect for family dinners or festive occasions.

    Ingredients

    • vegan spätzle (whole wheat flour, water, turmeric)
    • cashew nuts
    • nutritional yeast
    • garlic powder
    • onion powder
    • salt
    • soy milk
    • tapioca starch
    • apple cider vinegar
    • fried onions

    Steps:

    1. Prepare vegan spätzle dough and press through spätzle maker into boiling water.
    2. Blend cashews, nutritional yeast, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, soy milk, tapioca starch, and vinegar to create cheese sauce.
    3. Cook spätzle for 2-3 minutes, drain and mix with cheese sauce.
    4. Serve topped with fried onions.
