    Experience the heartwarming taste of Germany with these Classic Vegan Semmelknödel. These bread dumplings are a delightful twist on the traditional recipe, crafted with fresh parsley and a rich, savory broth that complements any vegan feast. Perfect for soaking up sauces or enjoying as a standalone dish, they add a comforting element to any meal.

    Ingredients

    • 200ml vegetable broth
    • 1 small onion, finely chopped
    • 2 cloves garlic, minced
    • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
    • 1 tbsp nutritional yeast
    • 1/4 cup soy milk
    • Salt and pepper to taste

    Steps:

    1. Soak bread cubes in vegetable broth until soft.
    2. Sauté onion and garlic until translucent.
    3. Mix soaked bread, sautéed onion and garlic, parsley, nutritional yeast, and soy milk.
    4. Season with salt and pepper, then shape into dumplings.
    5. Cook dumplings in simmering water for 20 minutes.
