Ingredients
- 1 block firm tofu, pressed and cubed
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1/2 cup vegetable broth
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 2 green onions, chopped for garnish
- Salt and pepper to taste
Steps:
- Press and cube the tofu, then toss in cornstarch.
- Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Add tofu and stir-fry until crispy. Remove tofu and set aside.
- In the same pan, add more oil if needed, and stir-fry the bell peppers, onion, and garlic.
- Mix vegetable broth, soy sauce, ginger, and sesame oil in a bowl. Pour over the vegetables. Add the tofu back into the pan.
- Cook everything together for a few more minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
