Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven to preheat as well.
Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness, then transfer to a piece of parchment paper.
Spread the vegan cream cheese evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onions and cook until soft and translucent. Spread cooked onions over the cream cheese.
In the same skillet, combine tempeh slices, soy sauce, and maple syrup. Cook over medium heat until tempeh is browned and crispy. Distribute tempeh bacon evenly over the onions.
Garnish with fresh chives, slice, and serve immediately.
