- 3 tbsp nutritional yeast
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 cup vegetable broth
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
Steps:
- In a large bowl, mix the vital wheat gluten, nutritional yeast, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together vegetable broth, soy sauce, olive oil, tomato paste, and smoked paprika.
- Combine the wet and dry ingredients until a dough forms. Knead for 5 minutes.
- Divide the dough into 4 equal parts and shape into steaks.
- Cook in a preheated skillet on medium heat for 5-6 minutes per side or until browned.
