This vegan dish is a harmonious blend of crispy tofu cubes drenched in a perfectly balanced sauce made of vinegar, soy sauce, sugar, and a hint of ginger and garlic.     Ingredients

    • 2 tbsp cornstarch
    • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
    • 1 red bell pepper, chopped
    • 1 green bell pepper, chopped
    • 1 cup pineapple chunks
    • 1/4 cup soy sauce
    • 1/4 cup rice vinegar
    • 1/4 cup sugar
    • 1 tbsp ketchup

    Steps:

    1. Press and cube tofu, then coat with cornstarch.
    2. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Fry tofu until golden and crispy.
    3. Remove tofu and sautรฉ garlic and ginger until fragrant.
    4. Add bell peppers and pineapple, stir-frying for 3 minutes.
    5. Mix soy sauce, vinegar, sugar, and ketchup in a bowl.
    6. Cook everything together for 5 minutes, stirring until sauce is thickened and everything is well-coated.
    7. Serve with rice or noodles.
