Ingredients
- 400g spaghetti
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 200g mushrooms, chopped
- 100g walnuts, crushed
- 800g canned crushed tomatoes
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp dried basil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil for garnish
Steps:
- Cook spaghetti according to package instructions.
- Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add onions and garlic, sauté until translucent.
- Add mushrooms and walnuts, cook until mushrooms are soft.
- Pour in crushed tomatoes, oregano, and basil. Stir and simmer for 20 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
- Serve sauce over cooked spaghetti and garnish with fresh basil.
