    Recipe Description

    A simple and nutritious dish, Classic Horta Vrasta consists of assorted greens boiled to perfection, dressed with olive oil and lemon. A staple in Greek cuisine, this vegan delight is perfect for a healthy meal.

    Ingredients

    • 1 kg mixed leafy greens (dandelion, spinach, chicory)
    • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
    • 1 lemon
    • Salt to taste

    Steps:

    1. Wash the greens thoroughly to remove all dirt.
    2. In a large pot, bring water to a boil and add salt.
    3. Add the greens to the pot and boil for approximately 15-20 minutes.
    4. Drain the greens and let them cool slightly.
    5. Serve the greens on a platter, drizzled with olive oil and lemon juice.
