    Recipe Description

    A rich blend of basil, nuts, garlic, and nutritional yeast, capturing the essence of traditional pesto without any dairy.

    Ingredients

    • 1/2 cup pine nuts
    • 2 cloves garlic
    • 1/2 cup extra-virgin olive oil
    • 1/4 cup nutritional yeast
    • Salt and pepper to taste
    • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

    Steps:

    1. Combine basil, pine nuts, and garlic in a food processor and pulse until coarsely chopped.
    2. With the processor running, slowly add the olive oil, processing until smooth.
    3. Transfer to a bowl and stir in nutritional yeast, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Adjust seasoning if necessary.
