    Recipe Description

Dive into a plate of these crispy, air-fried onion rings, a healthier version of your favorite snack. Perfectly seasoned and golden, they’re a hit for any game night or as a special treat for Mother’s and Father’s Day celebrations.

    Ingredients

    • 1 cup almond milk
    • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
    • 1 cup all-purpose flour
    • 1/2 cup cornstarch
    • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
    • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
    • Salt and pepper to taste
    • Bread crumbs for coating

    Steps:

    1. Make a buttermilk by mixing almond milk and apple cider vinegar. Let sit for 5 minutes.
    2. Separate onion slices into rings.
    3. In a bowl, mix flour, cornstarch, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
    4. Dip onion rings into the almond milk mixture, then into the flour mixture, back into the almond milk, and finally into the bread crumbs.
    5. Place in a single layer in the air-fryer basket.
    6. Serve immediately.
