Ingredients
- 1 cup almond milk
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Bread crumbs for coating
Steps:
- Make a buttermilk by mixing almond milk and apple cider vinegar. Let sit for 5 minutes.
- Separate onion slices into rings.
- In a bowl, mix flour, cornstarch, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Dip onion rings into the almond milk mixture, then into the flour mixture, back into the almond milk, and finally into the bread crumbs.
