    Recipe Description

Perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, these yuca fries offer a deliciously satisfying vegan snack with a unique twist on traditional fries.

    Ingredients

    • 2 tablespoons olive oil
    • Salt to taste
    • Optional: garlic powder, smoked paprika

    Steps:

    1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
    2. Peel the yuca root and cut it into fries-sized sticks.
    3. Boil the yuca fries for about 10 minutes until slightly tender but not fully cooked.
    4. Drain the yuca fries and pat them dry with a towel.
    5. Toss the fries with olive oil, salt, and any additional seasonings.
    6. Bake for 15-20 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the fries are golden and crispy.
    7. Serve immediately.
