    Recipe Description

A tantalizingly spicy and flavorful vegan twist to the classic Jamaican Jerk, featuring marinated tofu grilled to perfection.

    Ingredients

    • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
    • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
    • 1 tablespoon olive oil
    • 1 lime, juiced
    • 2 garlic cloves, minced
    • 2 teaspoons fresh thyme, chopped
    • 1 teaspoon allspice
    • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
    • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper

    Steps:

    1. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, maple syrup, olive oil, lime juice, garlic, thyme, allspice, cinnamon, cayenne pepper, green onions, and salt.
    2. Marinate the tofu slices in the mixture for at least 1 hour or overnight in the fridge.
    3. Preheat grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
    4. Grill marinated tofu for about 3-5 minutes on each side or until nicely charred.
    5. Serve hot with your choice of sides.
