Recipe Description

A delicious and hearty mushroom and cauliflower steak that’s perfect for a festive holiday meal. Low in calories but rich in flavor, it’s sure to be a hit.

Ingredients

  • 1 large head of cauliflower
  • 200g mushrooms, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar

Steps:

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Slice the cauliflower into 1-inch thick steaks.
  3. In a pan, sauté mushrooms and garlic in olive oil until soft. Season with thyme, salt, and pepper.
  4. Place cauliflower steaks on a baking sheet. Top with the mushroom mixture.
  5. Drizzle with balsamic vinegar.
  6. Serve warm.
