Recipe Description

These vegan crêpes are unbelievably soft and light, perfect for filling with your favorite fruits, chocolate spread, or simply sprinkled with sugar and lemon juice.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 cups plant-based milk
  • 2 tbsp melted vegan butter or oil
  • 1 tbsp sugar (optional for sweet crêpes)
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • Vegan butter or oil for cooking

Steps:

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, plant-based milk, melted vegan butter/oil, sugar (if using), and salt until smooth.
  2. Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and lightly coat with vegan butter or oil.
  3. Pour a small amount of batter into the center of the pan, swirling to spread evenly.
  4. Cook for 1-2 minutes, or until the edges lift from the pan; flip and cook for another minute.
  5. Repeat with remaining batter, adding more vegan butter or oil to the pan as needed.
