Recipe Description
These vegan crêpes are unbelievably soft and light, perfect for filling with your favorite fruits, chocolate spread, or simply sprinkled with sugar and lemon juice.
Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 cups plant-based milk
- 2 tbsp melted vegan butter or oil
- 1 tbsp sugar (optional for sweet crêpes)
- 1/4 tsp salt
- Vegan butter or oil for cooking
Steps:
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, plant-based milk, melted vegan butter/oil, sugar (if using), and salt until smooth.
- Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and lightly coat with vegan butter or oil.
- Pour a small amount of batter into the center of the pan, swirling to spread evenly.
- Cook for 1-2 minutes, or until the edges lift from the pan; flip and cook for another minute.
- Repeat with remaining batter, adding more vegan butter or oil to the pan as needed.
