Ingredients
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 cup almond milk
- 1/4 cup apple sauce
- 2 tbsp flaxseed meal mixed with 6 tbsp water
Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, mix together acorn meal, whole wheat flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk together maple syrup, almond milk, apple sauce, and flaxseed-water mixture until smooth.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients and stir until just mixed.
- Pour batter into a greased loaf pan.
- Allow to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then remove from pan and let cool completely on a wire rack.
