Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup cooked black beans
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp chili powder
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup chopped red bell pepper

Steps:

  1. In a large bowl, mix flour, salt, vegetable oil, and water until a smooth dough forms. Let it rest for 30 minutes.
  2. In a pan, sauté onion, garlic, and red bell pepper until soft. Add black beans, cumin, paprika, and chili powder. Cook for another 5 minutes.
  3. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  4. Roll out the dough on a floured surface and cut out circles.
  5. Spoon the filling into the center of each dough circle, fold over, and seal the edges with a fork.
