Ingredients
- 4 ripe plantains, peeled and cut diagonally into 1/2 inch slices
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- Salt to taste
Steps:
- Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
- In a large bowl, combine olive oil, chili powder, ground cumin, cayenne pepper, and salt.
- Add plantain slices to the bowl and toss to coat evenly.
- Place plantains on grill and cook for about 5 minutes on each side, or until they are nicely charred and tender.
- Remove from grill and serve immediately.
