Recipe Description
A unique vegan version of the traditional Tanzanian Zanzibar Pizza, filled with a rich and tasty mix of vegetables and vegan cheese.
Ingredients
- 1 cup of vegan cheese shreds
- 2 cups of spinach, chopped
- 1 cup of mushrooms, sliced
- 1 bell pepper, diced
- 1 tomato, diced
- 1 onion, diced
- 1 teaspoon of curry powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
Steps:
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Roll out the pizza doughs on a floured surface.
- In a pan, heat the oil over medium heat. Add the onion, bell pepper, mushrooms, and spinach and sauté until soft. Stir in the curry powder, salt, and pepper.
- Divide the sautéed vegetables onto each pizza dough, leaving room at the edges. Top with diced tomatoes and vegan cheese.
- Carefully fold over the dough to enclose the fillings, pressing the edges to seal.
- Serve hot and enjoy.
