    Recipe Description

    Indulge in the holiday spirit with a glass of our Vegan Eggnog, a festive, plant-based take on the classic yuletide beverage. This sumptuous drink begins with a creamy base of almond milk, whisked to silky perfection, offering a lush, velvety texture that serves as the perfect canvas for the spices and sweetness to come.

    Ingredients

    • 3 cups almond milk
    • 1/4 cup maple syrup
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
    • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
    • Pinch of salt
    • Optional: 1/4 cup dark rum or brandy

    Steps:

    1. Combine the soaked and drained cashews, almond milk, maple syrup, vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt in a blender.
    2. Blend on high until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy.
    3. Taste and adjust sweetness if necessary.
    4. For an alcoholic version, stir in rum or brandy.
    5. Chill in the refrigerator for at least an hour before serving. It will thicken as it cools.
