Ingredients
- 500 ml plant-based milk, lukewarm
- 1 sachet (7 g) dry yeast
- 50 g sugar
- A pinch of salt
- Diced apple or raisins, optional
- Oil for deep-frying
- Powdered sugar for dusting
Steps:
- Mix flour, plant-based milk, yeast, sugar, and salt. Let the batter rise for an hour.
- Stir in diced apple or raisins if using.
- Heat oil to 180°C.
- Drop spoonfuls of the batter into the hot oil. Fry until golden brown.
- Drain on paper towels and dust with powdered sugar.
