Ingredients

  • 1 cup raw cashews, soaked and drained
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons nutritional yeast
  • 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 cup unsweetened plant milk
  • Oil for frying

Steps:

  1. Blend cashews, water, nutritional yeast, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, and salt until smooth to prepare the mozzarella.
  2. Freeze the mozzarella mixture until semi-solid.
  3. Shape the frozen mozzarella into sticks.
  4. Dredge sticks in flour, dip in plant milk, and coat with breadcrumbs.
  5. Deep fry until golden and crispy.
