Ingredients
- 1/2 cup tofu, firm, pressed and crumbled
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon ground fennel
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 cup vegetable broth
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
Steps:
- In a large bowl, combine vital wheat gluten, crumbled tofu, soy sauce, spices, and garlic.
- Gradually add vegetable broth, mixing until a dough forms.
- Divide the dough into 4 equal parts and shape each into a sausage.
- Wrap each sausage tightly in foil.
- Steam for 20 minutes, then unwrap and pan-fry with vegetable oil until crisp and browned.
