    Recipe Description

A delightful and creamy spread that’s a vegan take on the traditional Estonian egg butter. This classic vegan munavõi uses tofu as a base, perfectly mimicking the texture and taste of eggs. It’s a savory, nutritious, and versatile spread that brings comfort and wholesomeness to every bite.

    Ingredients

    • 3 tbsp vegan mayonnaise
    • 1 tsp mustard
    • 1/4 tsp turmeric
    • 1/4 tsp black salt (kala namak)
    • 2 tbsp chives, finely chopped
    • Black pepper to taste

    Steps:

    1. Crumble the tofu into a bowl to resemble egg whites.
    2. Add vegan mayonnaise, mustard, turmeric, and black salt. Mix until well combined.
    3. Fold in the chives and adjust black pepper to taste.
    4. Serve on fresh bread or crackers. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
