Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and endives, cut side down. Cook until browned, about 5 minutes.
In a saucepan, whisk together almond milk, nutritional yeast, garlic, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer.
Place endives in a baking dish, cut side up. Pour the almond milk mixture over the endives.
Mix breadcrumbs and crushed walanches together, then sprinkle over the endives.
