- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 cup vegetable broth
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon mustard
- 1 tablespoon olive oil for frying
Steps:
- In a bowl, mix the vital wheat gluten, nutritional yeast, smoked paprika, garlic powder, black pepper, and nutmeg.
- Add the vegetable broth, soy sauce, and mustard to the dry ingredients. Stir until a dough forms.
- Divide the dough into 4 equal parts and shape each into a sausage.
- Wrap each sausage in foil tightly.
- Steam the sausages for 40 minutes.
