Ingredients
- 1 cup raw cashews, soaked and drained
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 tablespoons nutritional yeast
- 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 cup unsweetened plant milk
- Oil for frying
Steps:
- Blend cashews, water, nutritional yeast, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, and salt until smooth to prepare the mozzarella.
- Freeze the mozzarella mixture until semi-solid.
- Shape the frozen mozzarella into sticks.
- Dredge sticks in flour, dip in plant milk, and coat with breadcrumbs.
- Deep fry until golden and crispy.
