    Crisp, spiced vegan Speculaas cookies perfect for holiday festivities. These traditional Dutch cookies are made with a rich blend of spices like cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves, offering a warming treat.

    Ingredients

    • 2 cups all-purpose flour
    • 3/4 cup brown sugar
    • 1/2 cup vegan butter
    • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
    • 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
    • 1/4 tsp ground cloves
    • 1/4 tsp ground ginger
    • 1/2 tsp baking soda
    • 1/4 cup plant-based milk
    • 1 tsp vanilla extract

    Steps:

    1. In a mixing bowl, cream together vegan butter and brown sugar.
    2. Add the spices, baking soda, vanilla extract, and gradually mix in the flour.
    3. Add plant-based milk to form a dough.
    4. Chill the dough for 1 hour.
    5. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
    6. Place on a baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes.
    7. Cool on a wire rack before serving.
