Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 2 tablespoons nutritional yeast
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup crushed walnuts
- Salt and pepper to taste
Steps:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and endives, cut side down. Cook until browned, about 5 minutes.
- In a saucepan, whisk together almond milk, nutritional yeast, garlic, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer.
- Place endives in a baking dish, cut side up. Pour the almond milk mixture over the endives.
- Mix breadcrumbs and crushed walanches together, then sprinkle over the endives.
